During onboarding you choose your own goal using a scroll wheel (default starting point: 2000 ml). You can change it any time via Settings → Goal — tap the row to open the picker and scroll to your preferred amount.
Why did my streak reset?
Your streak requires reaching at least 90% of your daily goal before midnight in your local timezone. If you fell below that threshold, the streak resets at midnight. Tip: check your History tab to see which day was missed.
Why does coffee only add a fraction to my goal?
Different drinks hydrate you differently. Coffee and black tea have a mild diuretic effect, so they count as 0.6× their volume. Herbal tea and water count in full (1.0×). This is intentional — your progress ring reflects true hydration, not just raw liquid consumed.
I'm not receiving reminders. How do I fix this?

How do I delete a logged entry?
On the home screen, tap the log handle at the bottom (it shows your entry count for today). Each entry has a trash icon — tap it to delete. Your bear and progress ring update immediately.
Is HydrateDaily free? Are there any hidden charges?
HydrateDaily is completely free. There are no subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no premium tiers, and no ads. Every feature is available to everyone.
Where is my data stored? Is it safe?
All your data is stored locally on your device only. Nothing is sent to our servers. We don't have access to your hydration logs, goal, or check-in responses. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
How do I reset the app and start over?
Go to Settings → Data → Reset all data. This clears all logs, streaks, check-in history, and settings. The onboarding flow will start again on next open. This action cannot be undone.
